European Eating - The Hummingbird Bakery

The first stop on our tour of European food is London, England.

My best friend Rebecca and I absolutely love London and were so happy to be there! We were absolutely thrilled to be able to spend some time with our best friend Katie who showed us some really awesome places in London that we wouldn't have been able to find on our own.

We spent an afternoon with her in London's Portabello Market where she insisted we visit the Hummingbird Bakery and try their Pumpkin Whoopie Pie with cream cheese icing. We were not disappointed!

It was absolutely delicious and a perfect treat after wandering the market and shopping at Cath Kidston. Everything in the shop looked incredible and I think I might invest in their cookbook. It can be found on Amazon and has many recipes including "Red Velvet Cupcakes, Apple Pie, Frosted Brownies, Chocolate Chip Cookies and many other quintessential Hummingbird Bakery classics [which] are captured within the 60 recipes of this easy to follow and beautifully presented cookbook."
